Step 3Click on the "Layout" section from the list on the column on the left hand side of the screen.
Step 4Browse through the layout options. Blogger has two options for those looking for two columns: a central column for posts and a second column -- located on either the left or the right -- for adding gadgets. This secondary column is called a sidebar.
Step 5Adjust the width of each column by clicking on the "Adjust Widths" tab along the left hand column. Make the secondary column as small as zero pixels or as large as 500 pixels; make the central column as small as zero pixels or as large as 1500 pixels.

Click the "Apply To Blog" button at the top right of the screen in order for the new layout to take effect on your page.
